Marble Painting - Earth

Today we did a super fun and easy craft using paint and marbles! Each kid got a big white circle on a tray (you could also use a large shoebox). We put some dabs of blue and green finger paint on the circle, and put a few marbles on each tray. I started out with 3 each, but we decided to add more later to help spread the paint a little better.

Then the kids held the tray by the sides and moved it all around so the marbles would roll through the paint.

Here are the results! Aren't they cute? We put them on a paper towel to dry and we will glue them to black paper later and hang them on the wall to display!

5,000 Followers Freebie & Giveaway!

Wow....I am just so blown away that I am getting close to 5,000 followers on TpT. I have loved being a part of such a great community of people the past few years. I'm gearing up for a great celebration including some HUGE giveaways and an exclusive freebie for followers!

When I hit 5,000 followers, I will start the giveaway and send out the fan freebie! So, be sure you are following me on Teachers Pay Teachers so you can receive it to your inbox! This will be the only chance to get this freebie!

Here's a little sneak peak:

I am currently creating a new set of dot marker mystery pictures using bigger numbers (21-100) and the first 5 I've finished will be the fan freebie! My other dot marker mystery picture sets are some of my best selling items! Your students will love creating the cute pictures while practicing the numbers. If you don't have dot markers, regular markers or even crayons will work just as well!
Check back soon here on the blog for the GIVEAWAY which will include 3 or 4 great prizes!
You guys are amazing. Thank you for all the support, kind words, and constructive feedback!

Love the Earth - Fun Activities for Earth Day

We are having so much fun learning about the Earth! Today we went on a "nature hunt" around the block, and the kids gathered leaves, grass, pebbles, and sticks for our art project!

I typed up and printed out these sheets:

*You can get the template I made HERE!
Then we glued each one to a piece of construction paper to make it more sturdy. The kids used the nature treasures to fill in the letters!

I just love how these turned out! As they glued, we talked about ways that we can love the earth: not littering, conserving water, recycling, etc.
We also had some coloring fun!

These color pages and many more are from my Earth Day Print & Go Pack that you can find HERE!

All About the Earth - Print and Go - Math & Literacy - No Prep
Another fun activity we have done is creating an earth mobile.
We colored a paper plate like the earth, then drew pictures on paper hearts that represented things we can do to love the earth. Then we put it together with string and tape!
