Superhero Mystery Pictures - Exclusive Fan Freebie

**Update** I forgot that I am only allowed to send one note to followers each month on TpT - so it will be another week or so before I'm able to send the fan freebie - but it's coming, I promise! Thanks for understanding! **

I am excited to be working on my first ever exclusive TpT follower FREEBIE! When I reach 1600 followers on TpT, I will be sending a link to all my followers for free access to my newest Superhero Mystery Pictures! These are not yet in my store, and when I do put them in there, they will be paid.

There will be 2 different mystery pictures - one using a hundreds chart that will be great for grades K-2, and another more challenging coordinate graphing mystery picture for grades 3-5!

Here's a sneak peek:

So, help me get to 1600 by making sure you are following me on TpT here - and when I do, I'll share this awesome freebie with all my wonderful followers!

It's Almost Here!

Back to school is almost here for us! I am planning on starting up on August 25, which is when the districts around us will start. I'm linking up again with Where the Magic Happens for our "Diggin' Into" series to talk about how we get ready for the beginning of school!

Homeschooling is obviously different than the classroom at the beginning of the year. We don't have to spend time getting to know each other, but there is certainly more complaining about not getting to watch tv and having to do work :-)

I like to build anticipation about how much fun we'll have when school starts, so we're already talking about things we'll learn and stuff we'll get to do. I've ordered my curriculum for my 1st grader

and found a few cute items at the Target dollar spot.

And we've even done a few "fun" activities to get their fingers and hands ready for writing again!

We also just moved into a new house a few days ago, so of course one of the rooms I had to set up first was the school room! It's actually just half of the room, and the other half is a play room to keep 2 little sisters occupied while I work with the older 2. It's not much, but it's more space than we have before, so I am very excited! This is the work in progress!

I am so excited to be a part of the awesome giveaway for the end of our Diggin Into series. Check out Laura's post to see the great prizes! It starts August 11th, so be sure to check back then to enter!

Out of This World Fun!

Outer space is so intriguing for little minds (and big ones as well!)

I just finished creating some fun outer space themed mystery pictures! The 120 Chart Mystery Pictures are great for younger kids to practice numbers and colors, and the Multiplication Mystery Pictures let older ones review those facts! All the feedback I've gotten on these activities say that kids absolutely LOVE them!

I've also compiled a great list of books (fiction and non-fiction) that we like to read when learning about outer space!

Time for Kids Book of Why - Stellar Space
There's No Place Like Space: All About Our Solar System
The Magic School Bus Lost in the Solar System
Space Exploration (TIME for Kids Nonfiction Readers)
Outer Space Chase (Team Umi-Zoomi)
Geronimo Stilton #52 - Mouse in Space!
The Outer Space Mystery (Boxcar Children Mystery)
The Girl Who Could Dance in Outer Space - An Inspirational Tale About Mae Jemison
Little Space Explorers
Olivia Blasts Off
Herman the Cat Goes to Outer Space
Skippyjon Jones Lost in Spice
